WAR - Guild News

 For the month of September, Call of Fate: WAR will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary. We would like to invite new players, and invite back players who have left the game, to join us as we drink till dawn, slaughter destruction by the thousands, and burn the Inevitable City to the ground.
If you are a new player to WAR or are returning after your account being closed for more than 60 days, you can qualify for the "Recruit a Friend" 10 day trial offered by Mythic. During the month there will be weekly all-hands events for the guild to fight, and laugh, together. There will be special contests and even special give-aways for both new and returning members. These items will include, but not be limited to, gold, talismans, potions, rare gear, and more.
WAR has changed much during the past year. We've seen friends come and go and the game change focus, direction and scope, but the one thing that has remained the same is the family that is Call of Fate. Everything is more fun when you are with your guildmates. Come join us as we celebrate one crazy year as a Call of Fate guild chapter. Then, stick around as we forge new memories!

Unable to prevent the initial desecration of the Land of the Dead, the forces of Order now take action to prevent Tchar'zanek's army from achieving their goals there. Both sides are now locked in a race to Nehekhara-a race that will be won by the first side to successfully realize a faster, more secure method of transport: air travel.
All eyes turn to the capital cities where airship construction is underway, for if the airships do not launch, the battle for the Land of the Dead will be over before it could begin. The awesome forces of both armies now scramble to secure badly needed resources, eliciting a bloodbath the likes of which neither side could ever imagine.

The Call of Fate on Ostermark will be moving to the Phoenix Throne server. Right now it looks like we'll be moving on Tuesday, March 31st. See the forums for details. FYI, each character will have to be moved separately. Your character will not automatically follow the guild to Phoenix Throne.

CoF was part of a large force that successfully attacked 2 destruction fortresses and made our way into the Inevitable City. This was a first for our server, Ostermark, and we're all quite excited!
The latest patch has certainly spiced things up in RVR and we're looking forward to many more fun filled evenings with the new zone locking system.
If you're looking to come and join the fun, just ask any member of the Warhammer guild to pass along a "recruit a friend" key. Within the next couple of weeks we'll start seeing the new dwarf class, the slayer, so come over and join us.
