That marauder skill has GOT TO GO.  There is nothing in the game that pisses me off more, and I stopped playing for a couple of days after getting "fetched" three times in an hour in oRVR.  I actually was RL angry and had to walk away..

I'd argue that Beavis and Butthead, Liquid TV, etc. actually signalled the end of MTV as an music station; they showed that MTV could exist without relying on music videos.
 
Though for the record, Beavis and Butthead was pretty much over with, regardless . A friend of mine was an animator on both B&B and Daria, and says that Mike Judge was pretty much done with Beavis and Butthead, at least as a regular series, and was ready to move on at that point anyway.


Agreed. I thought that was there last gasp. The originals, before the got censored to hell and back were hysterical, in a really wrong sort of way. I mean, most of us went to school with "winners" like those two. Thats what made it funny.

But, when MTV started "shaping" the series, Judge pretty much said "I'm done". He finished out his contract and moved on to other things.

MTV has pretty much been nothing but fake "reality" exploitation shows and various thinly (or not so thinly) veiled marketing infomercials for the latest "I cant actualy play any music so I just steal someone elses stuff" hip hop garbage. *cough* Puffy *cough*
